Zur Spannungsanpassung sind unsere Steuertransformatoren primär mit Anzapfungen bei +5% und -5% ausgerüstet. Der Anschluss der Steuertransformatoren in der jeweiligen Anlage muss hinter dem Hauptschalter, vorzugsweise zwischen zwei Außenleitern, erfolgen und geeignete Maßnahmen zum Kurzschlussschutz enthalten. Am Ausgang der Steuertransformatoren kommen Spannungen bis max. 250V, vorzugsweise 230V, in Frage. Maßgeblich für die Bestimmung der Baugröße ist neben der Nennleistung die Kurzzeitleistung. Die angegebenen Werte für die Kurzzeitleistung sind die Werte der Ausgangsleistung bei cos.phi 0,5, bei denen die Ausgangsspannung um 5% gegenüber dem Nennwert abfallen darf.
